How Can You Obtain A CPAP
Posted on 12. Dec, 2009 by admin in Treatments for Obstructive and Mixed Apneas
You must have a doctor’s prescription to obtain a CPAP. Your sleep center personnel can put you in touch with a homecare company that will supply you with a CPAP system. The homecare company representative will send a respiratory therapist to your home to deliver the system and teach you how to operate it. They will provide same-day service in case of breakdown.
A few sleep centers rent or sell CPAP systems directly. However, most do not have the desire or the staff to deal with the paperwork and home service that this involves.
